What is Africa Data Governance Hub
The Knowledge Hub is being developed as part of the African Data Governance 2.0 project funded by the Hewlett Foundation, Ford Foundation and Omidyar Network. The African Data Governance Knowledge Hub is an online platform designed to foster and support collaboration amongst data governance actors and sharing of data governance resources in Africa.
What is the goal
The overall objective of creating the knowledge hub, through coordinated efforts, is to ensure that data governance organizations in Africa work together on a set of complementary rather than homogeneous policy issues, collaborate on advocacy within and across sectors and regions, as well as learn from each other, different ways to engage stakeholders. It is expected that at the end of its creation, the co-developing organization will solely run the knowledge hub.
